Make sure your photos are bright. The resin or what ever they put over the photos has a sheen of some sort which makes the images hard to see if they are slightly dark. But for the money for children they will work.

**UPDATE** I got my mom one of these for Christmas with her mom’s (the grandma we lost) pictures and double sided engraving, she got it today and absolutely LOVES it!! Again perfect remembrance gift.I lost my grandma in Oct 2022, it absolutely devastated me. My husband surprised me with this locked with her name, dates and on the other side our family’s long standing motto. It did take forever to ship and get to me in the states but it was 100% worth the wait, the engraving is beautiful, the took care to ensure the pictures were not distorted and were protected by whatever material they put over them. I sobbed opening this, and now I never take it off. Thank you to the creators for making such a beautiful piece to memorialize my grandma

The item arrived with scratches inside and the hinge broke within a few days. The customization photos were nice. Would not recommend this though. Especially as a gift.

Picture was beautiful!! Unfortunately the chain was broken when I got it (assumed maybe it was just a rough delivery) So I put it on another and wore it for maybe a week before the pendant broke off and i can no longer find the locket. Still have the little metal piece that goes on the necklace but not the part with the picture :(
