For something like this I will only get silver or gold. Jewelry should be made of something with intrinsic value.I really like the design of the medallion and the weight of the chain. This is a very nice St. Christopher Medal. The patina adds to the beauty of the silver. Engraving on the back St Christopher protect us. Ha a nice thick chain that should hold up for a lot of wear. There is a lot of detail in this medal. My son does a lot of traveling for work so this seemed appropriate gift for him. It comes in a lovely velvet pouch for storage and a nice gift box. Lovely gift for anyone who travels.
