This necklace is pretty and heavy in a reassuring way. I didn't get it for cremains, but I imagine the weight of the stainless steel would actually feel very comforting once it had a small amount of a loved ones remains in it, because it isn't so heavy to be uncomfortable, but heavy enough to always remind you that it's there (that your loved one is there). The metal is so very smooth and slick, and well polished, and the tone of the purple stone is really pretty in it. Because this has a chamber inside, I got it for fantasy "play" for my daughter, to use as basically like a genie bottle. The lid can come off (unscrews easily and stays securely) and a genie, spirit, or whatever can "go in" to be carried around with her wherever the story in her head takes her. :)

This is well made and beautiful. I got this for my daughter who lost her dad and it has his birthstone. We are just waiting on the ash which could take awhile. I’ll update if anything changes. Great way to have a lasting memory of your loved one.

My blue pit bull, Aeden, passed away last year from congestive heart failure. We had him cremated and put the ashes in an urn in the living room, near "his spot" on the love seat. This was my best buddy and I missed all the ways we spent time together...one of those fav activities was going for rides together.I put this necklace around my rearview mirror inside my car, that way Aeden can always come with me for a ride now. Somehow it gives me a sense of peace knowing he's in with me in some capacity, and continues to look after me. I miss you, Aedey-Boy.Thank you to this company for coming up with such an innovative way to remember a loved one by. It really did help me find a sense of closure and peace. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
