I like to wear black with jewel colors and ordered this watch because the face is interesting: black background with brightly colored floral motifs. It's also an unusual style. I have a LOT of fashion watches and this one is unique; I have not seen another like it. A bonus is that the hands are clear and visible in the dark. The watch is a tad bigger than I expected, but the fad now is for large watch faces. Compared to many fashion watches currently in upper-end stores like Nordstrom (mostly uber-huge chronographs), this is big but not TOO big.
