They look nice but they are definitely not hypoallergenic. I bought a variety of cheap amazon earrings that had claims of this but all of them caused my ears to get swollen, red, and itchy. I'm not surprised, just mildly annoyed. So I am basically copy and pasting this review for multiple items that I ordered that claimed to be something they are definitely not. And that's okay! They are still good looking earrings for the price. If your ears aren't highly sensitive like mine I'm sure they will be perfect. Although the gold finish started to wear off after only wearing them a couple times.

This looks like a gold version of a stainless steel earring I bought. The one on the right was tarnished after a few hours of wearing it ONCE. This material makes the earrings useless since they can't touch your skin.
