This is a very basic ultrasonic cleaner. Just one option to operate it: a single 3 minute cycle. If you want to run it longer you need to press the on button again after the cycle is over. There is no clock or display as to the amount of time left in the cycle. On the plus side it comes with a plastic basket to hold items and a curved insert for items such as watch bands. The tank is stainless steel and is roughly 6.25 inches by 4 inches. It is 2 inches deep.It has a light that kind of, sort of lights up the inside. It's blue, and the color representation is rather poor.A lot less noisy than I thought it would be. It buzzes while operating, but it's not loud enough to hinder conversation while standing next to it.For the price paid (I bought it on the Amazon Warehouse) it's a good value. I use it mainly to clean atomizers and clearomizer heads, and it does a great job. Much faster and better than just soaking. Well worth the price paid, and a good choice if you're looking for a small, basic ultrasonic cleaner.I can't speak to the long-term reliability as of yet since I've only had it for a week, but so far so good. I'll update this should problems crop up.

I have had this cleaner for about a month and I am extremely happy with it. I have used it with my glasses, my dental partial and jewelry and have been very pleased with the results.Glasses cleaning - Those of you that wear glasses know the crud that can accumulate under the nose pad. I used to take a toothbrush to it and still could not get it all. After a few minutes in this cleaner the sludge is gone. The oil on the lenses are gone. No more wiping wiping wiping with a lens cloth.Jewelry - I want to address the one review I read about tarnish removal. This is not a jewelry polisher it is a cleaner, when people say that it makes jewelry sparkle that is because grease, grim and other sludge have been removed it will not polish tarnish at all. I have been very happy with my jewelry cleaning results.Dentures - For years I have soaked my partial with the effervescent tablet that you put in water. I still need to take a toothbrush to it to really get them clean and fresh. Using this sonic cleaner I get a better result than I have with tablet. Again I am pleased with the results.Cleaning solution - I use the commercial solution that was recommended when I purchased this. The instructions say you can use just water and that will work fine when you are just dislodging sludge. I like the degreasing the solution provides. At least one person recommended using dish soap. That probably would be fine for the partial and the glasses but different stones in jewelry can be delicate and I prefer to use the commercial product for that reasonThe only issue I have is not really an issue, but more of a head scratcher. There is a light in the lid that emits a pleasant blue glow. I cannot understand the purpose of it. If it came on when it was operating I would consider it a visual clue that it was working or not working, but it stays on 24/7. I am completely baffled as to it's purpose. For now it serves as a nightlight in the bathroom even though I do not need one. Perhaps I am overthinking this but a light with no obvious purpose seems odd to me.

I am really happy with my ultrasonic cleaner. I got it primarily to clean my eyeglasses because it seemed like they were always dirty. I put them in the basket with just Distilled water and clean them off when the process is finished with a lens cloth to wipe the excess water off. It seems like my glasses stay cleaner for longer.I am very happy with the value and the functionality of the unit.

Product worked great. Easy to use and my glasses sparkle. Shuts off after 3 minutes. If you have really dirty glasses I suggest another 3 minutes cycle. Haven’t tried on jewelry yet, as I purchased for my glasses. I’m sure it will do a great job! Good product for the price.

It really works. It really absolutely works just as good as the one in your local jewelers.. Further more, don't fall for buying the branded jewelry cleaner solution to use with it, it really does work perfectly with a little bit of dish soap.We cleaned all sorts of stuff in it. My wife's rings came out sparkling just like when the jeweler at the mall cleans them. I cleaned a metal wristwatch that I have had and worn for years and it was rather disgusting how murky the water was after just one cycle. I cleaner an old set of wire cutters. At first, I thought that it didn't really do anything until I ran my finger on the greasy dirty grips and the stains just "fell" right off.I wish they had one big enough to dip our firearms and bike parts in. I did use it to clean the bolt and action from our AR and it was again amazing!Get one, you will love it!

Not a good purchase. It has a tiny UV light (just an LED) and there is no measurable ultrasonic functionality.

I have used this cleaner in an attempt to clean some old pairs of earrings and necklaces that had quite a bit of tarnish built up on them. I will say that the pieces came out noticeably cleaner (and the used water was discolored, so I could tell it was working) but even after 3-4 cleaning cycles in a row, I had to manually polish most of the pieces to remove the most stubborn tarnish. I was really hoping this manual cleaner would do a better job at deep cleaning. I used this both with cleaning solution and without. I seemed to get similar results.
