It is perhaps a disservice to this watch that I just recently reviewed a very similar watch at a slightly lower price point that was quite a bit better. I also collect watches all the way up into the 4 figure range, so, I may be a bit jaded. So with that in mind I don't want that to dissuade from thinking this one is worth the money. It's not a bad deal, it is even, I would say, a good deal. The watch comes in a minimal flat box that has a panda on it, making it look like it is marketed at children. As such I would not gift this to someone in that box. Overall seems like a solid build. Doesn't have that feel of wondering if it is going to fall apart in your hands. Functioning is as expected for a four button digital watch. The backlight is passable. Not as bright as Indiglo, but probably not nearly as power hungry either. If anything I kind of like that it won't reset your dark adapted eyes if doing something like star gazing. The strap is a bit thin compared to the silicone straps that are in vogue these days across all ranges. Since the theme of this is "ultra thin" though, I would say that is acceptable. If I had reviewed this one before the other I had looked at recently I would probably have given it 5 stars, but instead I give it a solid 4.

As advertised, the watch has a clear display and is easy to read ONLY when it is worn normally. When I first received it the display is dimmed and fade, not easy to read. After reading the ad (in the first paragraph) and putting it on the wrist, amazingly it is clear and easy to read. The fonts has a gold color with a black background, and is even better than the common LCD display. The display remains clear for a while when I put it down to take picture (for this review). It works fine, with common features to show time, alarm, stop watch (chronograph). You could set the month and day of the week, in 12h or 24h format.I like that it is also very thin, light weigh and 164 ft (50 mtr) water resistant. I am glad to have ordered this watch that could have a longer battery life.All in All: a very nice timepiece, good as a gift, highly recommended.

It's super thin and lightweight, so it's comfortable to wear all day, even when you're out running errands or hitting the gym.One thing to keep in mind is that there's a protective plastic film on the watch face when you first get it. It's pretty clear, but you might not realize it's there. If you peel it off, the numbers will be much easier to read – especially in low light, since the watch has illumination for night time.The display is nice and big, so you can easily see the time at a glance. Plus, it's waterproof up to 50 meters, so you can wear it while washing your hands or showering without any worries. Just don't take it swimming or into a hot bath.Overall, this is a great minimalist watch for everyday wear. It's stylish, comfortable, and easy to read. Plus, the battery life is supposed to last a long time – another win!

I ordered that OLAZONE Ultra-Thin Minimalist Sports Waterproof Digital Watch just to have a watch that does what watches are made to do...tell time. This one was simple to setup after briefly looking at the instructions. Works just like the first digital watches that came out decades ago. It is VERY easy to read the dial in bright light and there is a button that briefly lights the dial in dim or dark light. It has a stopwatch feature. I don't use this much. No fancy apps, no multiple menus or fancy faces. Just a watch.
