This is beautiful. I bought this for my husband and it is of very good quality. The medallion itself is high quality and very heavy. It isn't cheaply made at all and it beautifully carved. My husband loves it and even sleeps in it.The string itself is very thin and the hole that is drilled in the medallion is tiny, which is to be expected because of the small string size. However, even with that being the case he doesn't find it to feel cheap. The string could be changed out with a little effort, but for our use will not be necessary.

I love it. It is more than I expected. It is so beautiful and unique. The nylon cord is strong and perfect. I can adjust it to a length that suits me. I love having Kwan-yin so close and I can hold her in my hand when I feel the need. The price was awsome and the 99 cents shipping and handling great. It took less than four weeks for it to arrive from Shanghai. Kwan-yin is very special and to have her so beautifully displayed and able to be worn close to my heart means a lot. I do not wear her as a piece of jewelry, buy for protection.

looks and feels great, the strings is a bit thinner than expected, you have to tie it in the back, but overall i am still giving in 5/5. Am curious as to what is what out of, not sure if its a resin mold or painted stone. The detail is very good though.

I practice Buddhism and was very happy to see they had a pendent for the thousand hand bodhisattva, as she is a helper and a great leader towards happiness and Nirvana, however when the pendent was delivered it was not Zhāng Jìgāng. It was only a carved stone on a string, it was very disappointing. Hoping to have used the pendent for meditation and admiration towards the bodhisattva did not happen. It was too bad, hopefully others will not get the same thing I did. Gassho

It is true that the cord is not the greatest and that it is shipped by a company in Hong Kong via Singapore and takes a good month to arrive, but I purchsed two and absolutely love them. They were sent in a small, thin bubble envelope with no additional protective wrap through all that Christmas mail and neither of them broke, so they must be pretty strong. This is made from stone and the colors of the two vary slightly. I just love them. I cannot even begin to tell you how much ... and I am a 54 year old woman with many pieces of nice jewelry. I do NOT wear plastic .

The stone is beautiful and I wear it around my neck always. I have shown it to others and they ask where I found it. During my day it's good to be reminded of my refuge, Kwan Yin is my refuge.
