The stones look like real turquoise. They are set in and encased in the metal setting. It comes with a lobster claw clasp which I love. You can either wear it long or as a choker. The metal is not sterling but even at that it is made well for being costume jewelry. It will look nice with other turquoise pieces. It is well worth the purchase.

This is a nice necklace but it certainly does not look like turquoise stones. The style is Indian and the color of the stones resemble pale turquoise but that is the only resemblance. I wore it on a black sheath dress and did get a couple of complements because it was a striking difference in the two colors. The photo in the advertisement did have more true turquoise markings than what I received.

From a distance this looks great. The details on the stones and their frames are nice. But the chain looks and feels cheap. It is not polished or shiny.
