I have done jewelry making including casting, soldering, stone setting, etc… for over 20 years as a hobby and I have always wanted a piece of purple turquoise jewelry. I just never had a chance to create something with purple turquoise.I should tell you that purple turquoise does not occur in nature. All turquoise is a very soft stone which means that it is porous which means that it takes in dyes very readily. When dug up from the earth, turquoise has a very chalky look and feel. So, most often immediately the miner who has dug it up puts it in a container with other turquoise and stabilizes it with colored resin or another hardener to make it become more blue.Or in other cases such as with purple turquoise, the dye that is used is red so that the red dye combined with the blue of the stone results in the turquoise becoming the color purple. That said, it is considered real turquoise but it is considered colored turquoise. This may be of consideration to some people out there.As for me, I am Exceptionally Happy with this ring! It is Gorgeous! I love the different variations in color in the stone.🥰 Since the ring is adjustable (see photo of it sideways in my hand), I have taken photos of the different options of fit for you on every finger except for my pinkie because even when adjusted it would not get small enough for that finger.As a hobby jeweler and an artist, I will tell you that the stone is quite flat on top as you can see by the photo of it up on it’s side. Aesthetically, in my eyes, this is it’s only con.The metal detailing is beautiful and the ring looks and feels well made. It is a Fantastic Buy for the 27. it is on Amazon right now with it’s Sterling Silver setting! IMHO it looks like it would cost 3 or 4 times that amount easily!🎉

The stone looked as pretty in person as it did in the pictures. Love the marbling in the stone. Not certain if this is really 925 sterling silver. Mine does not have the typical stamp as shown in the picture. However, this is not made of a cheap metal that will turn your finger green. It also didnt trigger any metal allergies for me to wear this (some jewelry will.) As for the sizing, since it was adjustable I wore it on several fingers before deciding which one I wanted it one. Nice to have the choice vs only one finger choice, and having to decide between rings on what I want to wear that day. I feel it would fit a size 6 to 8 really well. On the largest finger I tried it on, i could occasionally feel a pinch sometimes in the adjustment area. Overall I am happy with this ring, and like the way to looks.

This ring features a beautiful purple turquoise that is well cut and polished. The stone is nicely and securely set in the ring. I am not usually a fan of adjustable size rings, but this one is of a good quality. The ring works nicely for people whose hand size fluctuates due to fluid retention like my wife. The ring is comfortable to wear and does not snag easily on clothing.

This is really stunning. I wasn't sure what to expect but I love it. I got it for my daughter and don't know what finger she wants it on. When I saw that is was adjustable I knew it would be perfect. She can wear it on any finger. I did worry a bit because and adjustable ring looses it's integrity, this one looks so strong and made better.
