I actually selected this product for a co-worker who recently lost her mother. She had been wearing a necklace similar to this that belonged to her mother, it was very old and needed a rest. It turned out that her mother loved Citrine. This was perfect because it was 2 hearts, signifying her mother and herself. The Citrine is clear and well cut, it sits perfectly on a Sterling Silver pendant and chain. The chain isn't thin and I can see it lasting for years to come. The extender adds 2 inches which makes it great for every outfit. Despite the very low price, it looks very expensive. I found several identical items on the internet selling for 3x the cost of this necklace. I would select this item again and I probable will be ordering it again with a different birthstone.
