i chose this blue opal version for its color and it doesn't disappoint. The tree of life is a bit underwhelming, though - it's very light and lacking detail and depth in its design. The quality just does not justify the price, in my opinion. Granted, this is a nice piece and would make a good gift for the right person but it's lacking the "wow" factor that I was hoping for.

This necklace is made of silver so you may question its price like I did. The opal in the pendant is an extremely precious gem. A lot of jewelry that contains an opal piece can be expensive. The necklace and pendant are cute and they are uniquely designed. The family tree and the opal symbolize a lot of great things so you may feel better about wearing it as well.
