The pendant on this necklace is about the size of a half dollar and it hangs from a basic chain. It's feels strong and well made, and probably deserves a nicer chain. My husband and I were married between two trees and had a quote by Louis de Bernières read at our wedding that ends in, "Those that truly love have roots that grow towards each other underground, and, when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two." I thought this pendant was a perfect representation of that and I love it!

I love this thing, being Norse Pagan, it means a lot to have a clear, recognizable image. Even better, it's on both sides so it doesn't matter how you put it on, you can see the image. Finish is nice, and holds up so far.The only thing I'm not a fan of is the chain, but I got it for the pendant anyway. I'm going to replace the chain with leather cord most likely, I find it more comfortable than the chain. I also prefer shorter chains rather than sitting right at my sternum.My preference doesn't take away from the quality of the important part, the pendant, so I still give it 5 stars.

First off, this necklace is made very well.Not exactly sure what material, but I feel as though it could last for a really, really long time.The same goes for the chain. It's not cheap looking or feeling by any stretch of the imagination.I chose this necklace because the symbolism to me means the interconnectedness of life and death. They're equally important and you can't have one without the other.I am totally digging this necklace and not only will I most likely purchase more from this seller, but am highly likely to direct others here as well.

The Tree of Life as depicted on this pendant has special meaning for me as the tree's roots reach deep into the earth and far into the sky, as its existence straddles both. The Tree of Life appears on both sides of the pendant and is beautifully forged from stainless steel which is nicely shined. The pendant is substantial but not so heavy to be a bother. The silver chain is 23-inches long and has an interesting link I've not seen before. It also comes with a small drawstring bag, making it a fine gift if that's your intent. An ancient symbol that has a modern meaning, I'm very happy to have it.
