I got this for my neice to use on band trips. She's in marching band and has to travel for competitions. This way she doesn't have to worry about her jewelry getting tangled in her bag on the bus. And her mom feels comfortable with her taking things she wouldn't normally get to take. Necklaces and bracelets snap in securely and has slots for rings and earrings.

Feels like a child's jewelry case... the buckle is a bit cheap feeling. It holds a substantial amount of jewelry, and the small inserts (along the bottom/earring area) are removable, opening up that entire area if desired. The glue used on the inside slightly discolored (made it yellowish along the edge) the white fabric covering the hinges. It is, however, a perfectly functional jewelry case. The blue leather is nice and looks nice with the hard white plastic case. For travel, with all the bumping around, I don't believe this case will have a long life; if it's mainly used in a stationary location, I think you could get years of use and it wouldn't look worse for the wear.

I got two of these little boxes for my daughters, because my ex and I share custody and the girls go from one house to the next every week.They are in high school and recently discovered a love of jewelry. They have been transporting stuff in pockets and Ziploc bags. I surprised them for Valentine’s Day with these little jewelry boxes and they were overjoyed. They absolutely love them and they are perfect for needs. They love all the different compartments, especially.I have a different style of jewelry box, and I like it because it zips close… I feel like that keeps my jewelry, a little bit more secure than the clasp on these jewelry boxes… But I’m pretty tough on my stuff when I travel, and as I mentioned earlier, the girls are not crossing the Atlantic with their jewelry boxes. They’re going to their dad‘s house 3 miles away every week. So for our purposes these are absolutely perfect.

I absolutely love this little organizer. I should have got something like it a long time ago instead of constantly searching for a matching earring or a certain ring. Now the items I wear most often are all in one place in a handy little travel size jewelry box.The design of the box is good. Room for 4 chain necklaces with a cute lace band to keep them from moving around. Nine soft spongy slots to hold rings and earrings in place. How many earrings and rings it holds depends on the size of your jewelry items, but I was able to store 8 pairs of earrings and 5 rings easily.The last bit of good design is the 6 little compartments to hold...whatever. You can either use the 6 compartments or easily remove the soft grid insert to provide one larger space.The exterior is well made. Has a cute little gold snap closure and soft faux leather with a perfectly stitchedtop and pretty detailing along the edges.If you need a place to keep some of your jewelry items I highly recommend this organizer.The only improvement I can suggest is to have more of a color selection than just blue and pink.

The media could not be loaded.  This jewelry box is really pretty, looks exactly like in the picture. The materials used for the case seem like a good quality. The idea of this as an organizer is good but it is not well-thought of. There are two compartments: the top and bottom. On top, there are slots for necklaces and rings which hold the items in place, then, there are more space for other things like earrings which are not secured and has a lot of space to move around. The problem comes when you lift the top compartment up to open the bottom compartment. Everything in the top side(except the neckalces and rings) falls out of their slots. I had to improvise so I used foam inserts to hold the earrings in place(as shown in the picture).

I wanted something small to pack my jewelry into for a two month trip. It's definitely small and will won't take up a lot of space in a suitcase. However, most of my jewelry isn't small and dainty. My rings are wider bands and none fit into the ring slots (which can't be removed). However the slots are great for my mid-size hook earrings with posts. The smaller slots in the top tray are removable (just like the photo in the ad), but my earrings are large and won't fit into this area. The bottom tray also doesn't hold my earrings very well and forget trying to hang my necklaces on the top tray's hooks...mine are too long and the little pocket with the elastic doesn't hold anything tight enough to stay put. When I turn the box upside down (as it will most likely turn when packed in my suitcase) anything in the pocket falls out.Since I like the size of this, I was determined to make it work. By removing the partitions in the lower compartment, I could wrap three longer necklaces around the partition and place them in the compartment. I removed the partitions in the upper tray as well, used the ring slots for earrings, added a larger necklace (that thankfully doesn't easily tangle) and more earrings (I do like my earrings!) and put the earrings on the hooks as well. Only problem is when closing the top compartment, the earrings drop down (still stay on the hooks) but start to tangle with loose items in the tray....placing a folded tissue on top of this compartment before closing seems to keep everything from getting all tangled up.Bottom line - this would be best for a younger child or a person with a taste for thin rings and post style earrings. . but it is going to work for transporting my jewelry.
