This is very pretty and perfectly functional.Unfortunately, it looks like the finishing and glazing processes cut a few corners, leaving a lot of rough spots. Really too bad on such a pretty piece.I would expect more careful attention for the mother of Jesus.

As you can see from the photo here, it holds a lot of mine and my husband's jewelry, as well as the rosaries that I wear on a daily basis. The esthetic of this rosary and jewelry holder is nice and simple and will go with almost any decoration. It kind of evokes a contemplative mood that prepares you to meditate on the rosary prayer. This is a very nice rendering of Our Blessed Mother Mary, but the finish has a lot of flaws. There are bumps and rough spots. I would not give this as a gift, but it's functional for your own use. Based on the price, I expected better. I don't recommend it.

Needed a dish to put next to the bed for my jewelry I wore that day.I take my jewelry off at night and do not like just laying it on a table where it can roll or get knocked off.This little dish is perfect. Just the right size to hold a necklace, ear rings, and a couple of rings.She is beautiful, serene and peaceful looking. Fits right in to a sleep situation.Only complaint is that she is not totally smooth on the bottom, so needs a dresser scarf or a doily to sit on.Highly recommend.
