I'm not sure is this actually works however, I I think there is some form of metal effect if we want to believe It. I feel that it had some effect. I like the look of the bracelet. The rubber bands would pinch the little hairs on wrist every now and then.

I loved the concept and design of these bracelets. I ordered them for my 3 sons. Age 18, 24, 26. One only lasted 3 days. I reordered again and it broke as well. I had to pay for packaging to return. I ordered again thinking it was just those bracelets and they broke again. Planning to return the last two which broke within 2 weeks. So disappointed.

I love the sentiments that is behind this bracelet for my son, it is such a touching thought to have a stone that represents protection and strength. My son just turned 18, which is a terrifying time in my life because I'm afraid of the outside world hurting his beautiful spirit that I have worked so hard to protect for so long. So being able to find something that has such a beautiful representation yet remains masculine so he'll actually wear it is not as easy as one might think. I've been using aromatherapy for nearly his entire life, and the last several years I've gotten a lot more into natural health products for cleaning and hygiene as well as sickness so this is something that represents my love for him in several ways. The lava stones are very porous but they don't look like they have big holes inside of them so it holds on to the oil and it doesn't gush right out. When I just dab a couple of drops on the stones they'll hold the smell for about an hour before it starts to fade off. What I have found though is that if I take some of the oil and I covered a bit heavily and leave them not touching skin for about 10 minutes or so before he puts it on, the scent will actually last for several hours. I dilute my Essential Oils down with sweet almond oil or coconut oil so it doesn't irritate the skin as much as it would being direct, I don't know if this is necessary with the stones holding the oil or not but because I know how irritating the raw oils can be I'd rather be safe than sorry. I was a bit surprised that there was no instructions as far as how to get the stones to be used for aromatherapy. The oil that I'm using now in it is peppermint which is a very common smell around our house because it has so many different benefits. I love this because I'm able to have those stones that have a beautiful meaning carry with them a sense that reminds me of home when he's away.The fit of the bracelet is good, the cord on the inside it seems like it has more durability so I'm not as concerned about the bracelet falling apart as quickly. I have oiled the stones several times and I haven't noticed any kind of discoloration or chipping or fading while he's using it. And I have found that it also works kind of like a anxiety bracelet as well because you can spin the stones and snap the bracelet lately so it works for nerves too. I'm quite happy that there is such good quality elastic because it is really thick durable feeling elastic, not like the string you would find in the kits for friendship bracelets and I'm hoping it will last for years.

Cheaply made, waste of money. Broke soon as my son put the bracelet on. Thankfully I was able to receive a refund.

Ordered this as a gift for our sons birthday. He was very pleased and happy with this. He isn't a flashy kind of guy, so, this looks nice with work or casual wear.This was well made, has enough give, not too tight, nor loose.This is a well made, nicely packaged and presented piece of jewelry.
