I have extremely sensitive ears, I was very skeptical at first because I thought the black would rub off or irritate my ears. Much to my surprise, I've worn them for several days now and I have absolutely zero irritation, redness or swelling. The "screw on" backs take a bit to get use to, but in my opinion it's much more secure than the other type of backings...and as a bonus, you don't get poked by back of the earrings if you sleep with them in. Would definitely recommend, I've already ordered another set with a different color.

Most importantly, the metal does not peel or come off like other earrings I have had. Been wearing them non-stop for over 2 weeks now and my ears are healing (had to re-open the back of one of my piercings) without any issue from these earrings. The screw backs stay on tight
