I bought this watch for kayaking. It is perfect for that... very waterproof. My kayak is orange so this is designed for this purpose. It is very accurate also.

Display is barely visible in normal conditions. (Not like the image shown). Indiglo very dim even in complete darkness. Numerals only visible in strong direct light. Will probably return the watch as it’s almost completely useless.

This watch goes by two names. Originally named the BST.47; Timex later changed the name at least here in the U.S. to Command; which the command is more like a sub brand similar to the Expedition; as there are multiple watches carrying the command designation. In my own opinion, the command defines a very robust and rugged watch.I wanted this watch because it has the same specs as a traditional G shock, 200 WR and Shock Resistant. So, it is built to be tough. This watch breaks away from the traditional Ironman, in a way that the fifth button is position at the 3 o'clock position; making the screen a bit more cleaner. For this orange model, it comes with a negative display; so if. you have difficulty viewing; it is a lot easier to see the normal display feature on the other color schemes. One of the best features of this watch is the rubber strap. It is super comfortable, very well made and it secures very nicely at the buckle and the keeper. As with the basic Ironman features, this one also comes with dual time, three alarms, chronograph with 50 lap memory, interval timer and the 12-24 hour option. While being a relatively large watch with a 47mm case, it feels really good and not disproportionate at all. The case design allows for small wrists to comfortably strap this watch without issues. Wears much better than the older Shock Expedition (current Commands) which are over 50mm.I do not think at the time of writing this review of a 5 star merit; but only time will tell if it draws another star from its sleeve or it gets bumped down to three. All I can say is that at this time, these great watches has been discontinued from the main timex site; so you can only find them via 3rd party sellers with great discounts. At their current price, they are a very nice option to higher priced G shocks and obviously their own cousin Ironmans.
