Waited a few months to write a review so I could really test this ring out. I work in a hospital, so I use A LOT of hand sanitizer on the daily and was worried about the silicone holding up, however this ring has not been affected at all by all the hand sanitizer & hand washing. I expect to have it for a long time and will 100% buy another of this brand when the time comes to ultimately replace it. The ring is so lightweight and soft and comfortable. The design is cut out of the top (gray) layer of silicone, which is then layered onto the bottom (black) piece of silicone and the 2 pieces are seamlessly bonded. No indication that the ring is ever going to come apart into the 2 layers. The design is neatly cut, no rough edges or excess silicone. The fact that the design is cut out of the silicone instead of just printed on like many other brands, like the cool looking Disney/Marvel ones, is what made me decide on this ring since I figured printed/painted on designs would not hold up well to all the hand sanitizer I use. Soil when I pot houseplants/work in the garden and fine crumbs from baking/eating crackers do get stuck in the etched design, but running the ring under the faucet on full blast usually washes it out pretty good. You can always use a soft toothbrush for cleaning out anything really stuck in there, but I still recommend you take it off before working with dough, doing some hand mixing, using glue/applying silicone, or working with anything particularly sticky (I take mine off when I make/play with slime). My only complaint, if I have to pick one, is that there are no grooves for air flow cut into the underside of the band that touches your finger. This means you do have to make sure you dry underneath the ring very well every time you wash your hands or the moisture build up will damage, make your skin peel, even cause blisters. This can happen with any ring though, including metal ones, and it's not hard to move the ring up/down slightly to dry your finger thoroughly every time you wash your hands. I may have to take it off occasionally during the summer if I get really sweaty so my skin can breath, but I had to do that with my previous ceramic ring anyway.

I know the title sounds bad but I assure you, this product looked great and felt of great quality. The downside, hopefully no one else can relate to this, but I only wore it twice because my cat decided to eat it. Note to everyone: lock up all jewelry, even the squishy ones.

I loved the picture showing the galaxy purple color showing through the cut moon and stars. However mine is only black. You can see the cut outs if you look closely, but the ring is black with black showing through the cut outs. I wanted a more colorful galaxy design.

Very comfortable to wear. Does stretch out a little so would order 1/2 size smaller than you regularly wear.

The color does not show through the outer part that has the design. The 8.5-9 actually fits like a loose 9.
