My pearl is more of a steely gray color than the pearl pictured but it’s fabulous great value completely thrilled. I am ordering a thicker sturdier chain not due to inadequacy I believe this needs a sturdier chain both functionally and aesthetically

This is a real South Sea black pearl! I was surprised and delighted to see it had a charcoal to copper-bronze natural color and some slight dents on the bottom and side. The imperfections are a good indicator it's real. The baroque shape is gorgeous and you can see slightly iridescent "rings" of color in the photos. I would have preferred a slightly longer chain, but that is easily replaceable. I can't wait to wear it! Pearls should be handled with care (e.g. chamois leather cloth, do not expose to water, cosmetics, lotion, perfume, etc). Pearls like some moisture in the air and should not be stored in an airtight zip bag.
