The 8 oz jar of Shamrock Shine Jewelry Cleaner (ASIN: B0C31VWNFW) was effective at cleaning my wife’s rings (mainly soap scum). Following the directions I soaked the rings for less than 2 minutes, rinsed with water, and buffed dry. A brush is provided, but it was not necessary for the rings.As arrived, the jewelry cleaner was in an unlabeled container. The unlabeled container has a pump sprayer top, but the directions do not mention a spray method of use. Although obvious, there are no directions on how to handle. The cleaning container has information printed on the sides, but it is very difficult to read empty. It is a bit easier to read once the jewelry cleaner is in the container.Concerns: The jewelry cleaner arrived in an unlabeled container. The labeled jewelry cleaning container did not hold all of the jewelry cleaning solution, so either one must waste the remaining amount down the drain or continue to store the jewelry cleaner in an unmarked container until the solution in the cleaning container is used down (I used a permanent marker to clearly label the spray bottle and the jewelry cleaning container). The lid to the cleaning container must be cranked down tight or it will leak. However, use caution as lids of this nature are known for cracking if tightened too tight. The brush that came with the jewelry is too long to be stored in the cleaning container, so it is a third item to keep up with between uses.At the listed price of $12.99 for an 8 oz jewelry cleaning soaking solution I found this to be expensive.
