This jewelry box is just right for my small jewelry collection. It's large enough to keep things separate and organized without relying on multiple layers, but it's still pretty compact. The snap closure holds it securely, so I store it on one end to reduce its footprint. I haven't traveled with it, but if I did, I would probably add a rubber band around it since I could see it coming unfastened and spilling its contents. I do wonder about the durability of the hinge connecting the lid to the base. I can't see it under the fabric, but it doesn't feel like it would hold up to heavy use (though it doesn't seem as cheap as some hinges). I got the green jewelry box, and it's a much darker shade with less blue than in the product listing pictures. I'd describe it as a forest green. I'd like it better without the initial, but I knew it would have that before I ordered it, so that didn't affect my review.

This is a nice product. I wanted something to travel with and I didn't want a lot of ring slots. This was perfect because there is plenty of room for many earrings. There is a hidden panel that will hold necklaces, but I'm going to use it for more earrings, which i liked. I didn't get to choose the color of the thread or the color of the box, so I received a velvet pink box with a neon yellow initial on the top. I got the correct initial, but I'm not sure I would have chosen such a bright yellow for the embroidery. I know it is supposed to represent "gold" but it is far off the track from looking like gold. Hence why I might not give this as a gift. I believe there are other colors to choose from, but I did not have a choice in the color.The box closes with a snap and it seems pretty sturdy that it won't open in my luggage. Overall I am happy with this product.

This travel jewelry box will do the job of carrying your jewelry on trips, but it is not the best one I have ever used. If you look carefully at the photos you will see poor stitching, crooked attachments, etc. I could not see giving it as a gift because it was obviously just thrown together quickly without attention to detail. It is useable, but not the most attractive of jewelry boxes.

This item is the perfect travel jewelry box. It has excellent organizational spaces and plenty of spots for jewelry, and it's pretty sturdy. The outside is a beautiful blush color that stays nice and velvety.

I used to have a jewelry box just like this, but after 10 years, it was time for a change of style; this box has a really nice number of compartments and organizational spaces for earrings, rings, rings, and necklaces. I got the blue because I thought it would be resistant to dust, dirt, stains, etc., and I am happy to report that so far, this has been the case!
