The posts for the earrings are of a hypoallergenic metal.This is a very pretty set that looks like it should be more expensive than it is. It will not fool people into thinking you won the lottery and bought out a premier jeweler. The look, though, is very nice and can be worn for casual occasions, while being nice looking enough for more formal wear.
