Do not spray perfume directly on the jewelry
Do not immerse your jewelry in liquid.
After wearing the necklace, wipe it with a soft flannel cloth before putting them away.
Minor tarnish can be lightly buffed off with a jewelry polishing cloth(you can find the cloth in the gift box) or a mild jewelry cleaner.
Rotate top threaded screw of the pendant to open it.
Place the funnel into the opening and gently tap the ashes into the small pendant.
Use the filling needle to assist with getting some bigger pieces of ashes into the pendant.
Screw the lid tightly to avoid of the ashes falling off.

The tear drop itself is beautiful. But the chain didn't come with a loop to hook the latch into. I had to latch it right into the chain. So I am going to buy myself a different chain since I want it to be secure so I don't lose the tear drop and ashes.Another problem is that the tiny screwdriver was a bit too big to open the necklace up to put the ashes in. It was too thick so we shaved it down a bit so it would work.Other than these two issues I love the teardrop.
