I bought this band for a 1965 Timex Automatic and it's a good match for it. I have large wrists and this fits perfectly and is very comfortable. The appearance is very nice and has a simple,yet elegant look. The Timex has is a 16 mm, so it is at the minimum of this band but it wasn't too hard to attach. So far it is a good buy.

I had a very nice gold watch with a Roman numeral faceplate, but the old worn-out leather strap did not do it justice. Now, with this band, the watch looks magnificent. Make sure that you accurately measure the width of the old watch strap, and don't forget, these replacement expansion straps are specified in centimeters. I used the pins that came with the new band. They seem to be much easier to handle and snap in place than the original pins. The tools from a watch repair kit, also offered on the Amazon website, are helpful to install the pins, but not absolutely required. A thin-edged tool and strong fingernails will often suffice.
