This is a beautiful necklace that was light and comfortable. I wore it two days and both times forgot I was even wearing it. I asked two people independently what they thought the price of the necklace was, after giving them the description of the materials as listed on this page. They said of course it depends on where you get it, but one person guessed $75 and the other guessed $125. They were both surprised it was $54 (as it currently is as I write this) and both felt it was definitely worth that.In my opinion, this is prettier in person than the pictures in this listing, which look sort of Photoshopped to me.The chain is marked Italy S925, the pendant S925. There are hearts on the back of the pendant, which I find adorable. It's hard to get a proper picture but the design is really cool - the back of the pendant is actually hollow, like a bowl -- the sides connect to both the front and back of the pendant, but in the circle between all the hearts on the back, you could touch the back of the blue crystal you see on the front of the pendant. The sides also have a bit of variation of color around it, making it extra pretty.I saw that for some others, the size of the gems were disappointing. They are indeed very small. For me, I didn't even notice or care -- the design as a whole was so cute, and since I'm April, my birthstone is diamond so I can never see it anyway. But if you have a birthstone that's a vibrant color that you really want to see and you're considering buying this in part because of that, it's possible the gems are small enough that you wouldn't be able to see them very clearly so that may affect your decision. (By the way, it doesn't say what mine is but I assume it's Cubic Zirconia - it almost always is with April items)Also, this came packaged really nicely--not only did it come in a little box, but the necklace itself was in two plastic sleeves, one holding the pendant and left open, so the chain could come out, wrap around that sleeve, and then the whole thing could be encased in another sleeve. This was a great way of protecting everything while ensuring the chain didn't get any kinks or wrapped up in transit.For me? I love this and am very happy to have it. I'm not good at pricing, as I initially thought this was expensive until I heard from others that they expected it to cost more. It's very hard to do any sort of comparable pricing but it seems like at the very least this is in the right range for the individual parts, and more often it's on the lower end of somewhat similar necklaces. So it seems like it's a good deal, in addition to being beautiful and feeling dainty and lightweight while not seeming fragile.
