I was worried because there were only 2 reviews when I bought it. No other watch on the market came as close to my requirements for the price. I was looking for a digital watch with a large dial/screen, large font that is easy to read in the daytime and night, not a smart watch but has workout functions, thin and not bulky like the g-shocks, comfortable band, glass not acrylic screen, day/time/year displayed, water resistance.Kind of a tall order within the available market. Most decent digital watches theses days are smart and I can't have them at work. But the TIMEX Ironman T300 checked all of those boxes.Pros:extremely crisp highly legible screen even in the full sun and at extreme angles. good contrast.extremely soft and comfortable bandcase sits very well on my wrist without feeling bulkylight but not too light where it feels cheapworkout functions work well and are quite useful for my HITT trainingbuttons feel nicecons:Wish there were more color options. Silver would be a better color than white in my opinion.****UPDATE for those curious on durability of the watch. More than a year and a half later watch is still great. Have not had any issues and watch still looks perfect even though I wear it daily. I work an office job not construction so milage may vary.

This watch did not come with good instructions but was easy to set up once I figured it out. It has a battery saving setting which I was not expecting but like very much. It was the best option I could find for HIIT training.

I love that I can barely glance at it on a busy day and instantly be able to read the time. I also love that it is one of the few men's watches that are slim enough to not get caught on stuff all the time. Very low profile, but with a huge display. Perfect for what I needed.

This is a good watch but Timex should have made it 100 meters water resistant instead of 50 meters. That's why I didn't give it four stars.

This is a review of the white Ironman watch. I had it on order for a month or 2 before it finally shipped. When it finally arrived I thought it was odd. I couldn't get the box open so I had to tear the plastic front piece of the packaging. Also odd was that the little decal that goes on the watchface to simulate what it should look like when it is functioning was loose in the box. There was no user manual of any kind so I was lost as to how to get the watch to turn on. Every button I pushed did nothing to change the blank face. I finally looked up a manual online. Also interesting is that Timex does not have a manual for this model. I had to view a manual for a similar watch. I tried repeatedly to turn the watch on but still nothing happened. I finally realized the watch was defective. When I went to start the return, Amazon first tried to make me contact Timex to initiate a repair. I wasn't sure if I would have to pay anything or if it would even fix it so I opted to return the watch to Amazon for a refund. Normally, a refund is processed as soon as the item is returned but this time it said it would take up to 30 days to process. It has been 5 days since I dropped it off at the UPS Store and there is no update on my refund. In the meantime, I ordered a black version of the watch which came immediately and works fine. After reading other reviews of the white watch I am beginning to believe that I was sold a used watch that had been returned for being defective. Several reviews indicate the same experience that I had. I'm wondering if my refund is dependent on the next dupe receiving the watch and I'm paid out of those proceeds. The fact that I had to rip the front of the package should clue in anyone who is sold this same watch. I really wish that the watch had been functioning. I think it is much more attractive than the black version.

Easy to navigate . You can figure out how to set everything without the directions which I love! Big easy to read numbers are great.

To me this is the perfect watch. It’s very easy to read and not too thick and the band feels a flexible and comfortable due to its many perforations, allowing air circulation. The crystal is actually glass, so it won’t scratch easily. I love that it shows the year, because I sometimes forget what year we are in. It’ll happen to you one day, you’ll see!

It has a target distance but no GPS not really how that would be used them? Other nice features include the drink timer. This feature can be set up before the run and will continue to beep as you go and even in future runs if you do not change it. The pace feature would be nice for races that the mile marks are marked for you. There is a workout feature that I have not trued yet.
