I've used the star horseshoe for a month now it doesn't tarnish what so ever. I haven't worn all of them extended but I know for certain majority of them will NOT tarnish, half of them are great quality besides the ones with the dangly things in the middles. I saw other reviews also complain the dragon claws and butterflies will tarnish. So basically the most decorative ones will tarnish. If you need some septum jewelry variety I think this is a decent option for the price and variety. Though half of them will tarnish with extended wear, you just to have to expect that with the fancy design sort of jewelry iykyk. My biggest issue is that within 5 minutes of wearing the pincher for the first time, the rubbers fell off and I lost it. This was just from the friction of giving my cat a kiss, ONE KITTY KISS I didn't even rub my face or anything else. Don't trust the pincher lmao

I literally had it on for around 6 hours and it started turning green. It says surgical steel but ITS NOT‼️ theyre cute if you're gonna wear them for like two hours but any more time than that, it's just not safe.
