I bought this ring for my husband as a replacement for his original cobalt ring that we could no longer find. He has lost weight and his original ring just kept falling off. I had replaced my original wedding band with a tungsten band as well purchased another band to wear on my other hand just for the heck of it. I loved the fact that it doesn't scratch--at least not in daily wear. I'm sure you could scratch it with something. Anyway, my husband didn't like the shiny version of tungsten that I have, so I found this one for him. It's a white tungsten, or silver color that is almost exactly like white gold--maybe a bit closer to stainless steel. But the brushed finish is gorgeous--more satin to me with the edges the shiny finish. It looks great on him, more modern than his original wedding band and I find myself looking at his hand a lot!

It fits true to size. My husband was happy with the flat black. He didn't want a shiny ring and it is very matte. Fits comfortably on his finger, no sharp edges or nicks in the metal.
