I picked this up to see if I liked the size of the stone for a future ring I'm making. I really like this ring! It feels sturdy and the prongs don't catch on anything. The size of the stone feels appropriate for the size of my hand, big enough to make a modest statement, but not so big that it feels like the ring has it's own gravitational pull. I ordered a 6.5 and it was the correct size. My finger is somewhere around a 6/6.25, so I rounded up to 6.5 instead of dropping down to 6. I figured if the sizing was off, better to have a bigger/looser ring vs a smaller/tighter ring.The stone size is indeed 12mmx8mm and it has a 2mm genuine silver band in a Cathedral setting. I feel like the setting does a good job to keep the ring facing up The center stone is Diamond Simulant/Simulated Diamond, aka fancier cut Cubic Zirconia. Don't let that dissuade from buying this though, CZ technology has come a long way and the stone is very sparkly and refractive. If the stone wasn't so white, I'd be inclined to think its a Moissanite.Overall if you like the way the ring looks, I'd definitely recommend it! Shipping took about 2 weeks but that was before they offered Prime Shipping. Now it looks like I could get it in the standard 2 days so that's pretty cool.Edit: I forgot to mention that the ring box in my pictures is NOT the one that ships with the ring. I lost that box (a nice, pretty, blue ring box) so I used an old one for the pictures.
