Stuck these in when I got them end of February, it's mid-May and haven't lost one yet. The trick is I used Loctite thread-locker since I didn't want to risk it after other reviews said they're easy to lose.Seem to be good quality: no skin reaction, the faceted gems are very very sparkly especially for how tiny they are and the synthetic opal has a nice depth to it. I bought 2 sets so I'd have matching earrings and I think this is a good way to go because the flat backs are very comfortable unlike traditional post earrings.They did get tangled in my hair for about 2 weeks until I learned how to adapt to not do that. The smallest ones can get pulled through or embedded easier than I'd like but that's personal preference. If you're in a headset all day for work or whatever they will get pressed hard into your ears and be sore at the end of the day.

These are pretty but if you have big fingers they are difficult to get a grasp on them to screw them on. Also I cannot unscrew 2qty of them as they are on too tight. I tried everything and cannot get them apart. I thought I ordered the push pin style.

I was disappointed that these earrings don't use standard thread sizes. Most 16G jewelry I have has 0.9 mm internal threading, and this was considerably thicker than that, so I can't mix and match the heads/posts with any of my other jewelry. Frustrating, but okay, whatever, there's a bunch of these in the set so I'll just use them and keep them separate from my other earrings so I don't get them mixed up.First thing I did was take all of them apart to clean them. Well, as it turns out, apparently the threading on the individual earrings is not standard either. It's impossible to tell the posts apart just by looking at them, but the heads don't all fit in all of them. I went through trying to match them up and ended up giving up. See photo - the earring on the bottom shows that the head is screwed in flush with the post, but on the other two, they can't be screwed in any further and there's a gap. Better be sure you've got a set that fits before you try to put it on.Also, a more minor peeve, but most of the other jewelry I have has at least a thinner tip on the screw-in head so you can get it inserted into the post before you start to screw it in. On these, the threading starts immediately, so you have to hold it just perfectly and twist at the same time to get it together. I'm pretty good at putting on this type of earring, but these were particularly annoying.
