The brooch is much larger in person than in the picture, same thing with being heavy its very heavy but because the brooch look smaller in the picture you see, you wouldn't think it would be too heavy. Was suppose to be for my spring pantsuit jacket, but the collar of the jacket couldn't hold it well. This brooch would work better on a coat, but didn't want it for that.
