Another instance of me not reading the size of the product before hitting order! I was expecting something quite bigger, but this is truly lapel pin size. The product description also says it is a scarf clip, but it is not going to do much more than pin onto the material. It can not hold any gathered material or heavier material.As for appearance, it is very brightly painted (the flower petals) and the gold stem and leaves have a beautiful sheen. Because of the size, obviously the gemstones in the leaves are also quite small so they don't really show out or shine like you would expect. The pin and the clasp seem to be made very well. It is a simple snap-under closure and holds securely.The pin is very lovely and well made. The only thing I would change is to make it a little larger.
