The web site states that the band is 20mm but it is a very tight fit, so if you are going to change bands I would suggest you get a 19MM. I tried a couple of 20mm bands and they would not fit. As for the case it is a highly polished case not brushed. Overall I am pleased with the watch. I don't think the pushers for the calendar and moon phase were greased very well as it took me several attempts to push them in.
