These earrings are so beautiful! I love how they glisten and glitter. Their firepower is pretty good. They are large enough to be seen and I always get compliments. I love wearing these in the winter and even in the early spring when it's still cold out. The snowflake is a nice winter touch without being too based on the holidays. Sometimes it's hard to find a perfect mix of winter wear. This is a great compliment to my style and doesn't get caught up too badly in a scarf or hat. I got these earrings so I could have a fancy pair for special occasions, plus I love snow/snowflakes. They are very pretty and elegant looking. They have decent weight to them, so I would make sure you push the backing on all the way, otherwise they do pull/tilt down a little. The post of the earring seems to be a little long, but my guess is that that's to counteract the weight of the earrings. I do wonder if the post will eventually start jabbing my neck if I wear them for a long time. If you're used to heavy/big earrings (with or without long posts) this probably won't be a problem. The quality is decent, though I highly doubt it's even "gold-plated" though, because the price doesn't really reflect that. I like the price of these earrings though. You can get a pair of fancy looking earrings for an inexpensive price. Overall, these are very pretty earrings of decent quality. Now I just need a special occasion to wear them to.

I think this is a beautiful earring! The deep red of the ruby is enhanced by the multitude of stones of various sizes surrounding it. It literally looks like a fresh snowflake glittering in the light! This will be beautiful to wear in the winter holiday season. The main stone is a true deep red, and the surrounding clear stones reflect the light. I find that the earrings are a little on the heavy side. For this price point it is a steal.

These earrings have exceeded my expectations. They are exactly what I have been looking for. I have a few green tops and it seems like all the green earrings I have gotten were either too large or too gaudy. These are beautiful. They are not too large and not too small. They come beautifully packaged for gift giving. Only two things could make them perfect (in my opinion). They only come with one set of backs so the option of a second set of backs would be nice and the posts are not centered (see photo). Since the post is attached at the top of the earring it does not sit centered in your ear. That is a minor concern though. I plan on wearing these all year long even though they are snowflakes.

I like the shape, sparkle, and color, but I think these need a wider backing to really support them more on the ear and keep the good bits more visible. Thus, one star off.They came in a nice off-white box with a red ribbon. The manufacturer's quality control could have done better. The red ribbon had a glue string across it that made it look tacky. It wasn't exceptionally hard to remove, though, so I didn't ding them on that. It includes a small black soft foam pad for "presenting" the earrings after they arrive, and a small cloth draw string bag, too. Possibly to protect the earrings when traveling. They are fairly large, so the bag is welcome protection.The earrings themselves are packaged in a small plastic baggy during shipping. Mine were packaged in the same bag together, and that may cause the post or other metal settings of one to rub upon the crystal of the other and scratch it. It is still probably good enough to keep that to a minimum of instances.I like the size of the main crystal and the color and light transmission were both gorgeous. The little clear crystals were sparkly and these have the potential to be quite stunning.My only problem is that if you don't push the tiny little included backings TIGHT against your ear, the front has a significant droop and the pretty part faces downward. The backings don't lock, either, so they will eventually loosen up during the day and cause the same problem. These would benefit from the manufacturer upgrading to a wider backing to help support the front against your ear more securely, thus eliminating the "droop" and giving the earring a better presentation on the ear.I'm short. Anyone who is normal height is only going to get to see the "cage" that makes up support part of the earring and glimpses of some of the beautiful crystals once it gets loose enough to droop.Still a nice set for the price. Just needs a minor upgrade to be perfect.
