These days, most people buy watches not so much to tell time (after all, our phones, tv's, microwaves, computers et al have the time-telling part pretty much covered), but to accessorize / make a fashion statement.This Stuhrling looks magnificent--not flashy/gaudy but understated and elegant with just enough "kick" to take it to the "wow" level. You know when people say "it looks better in person"? That applies to this watch!! Being a natural born pessimist, I had sorta braced myself for an o.k.-looking watch, considering the price, but, yeah, talk about BIG surprise! This watch went so far beyond my expectations, I was actually speechless after I had unboxed it and musta made a weird squeaking sound that alarmed my cats ... LOL(oh, and it tells time pretty good, too! LOL)The box this watch came in is something to behold as well; there were no corners cut, no cheap replacements used, no "oh heck, good enough is good enough" attitude in the production process crept in--and the result is a watch you'd be proud to add to your collection.

Nice, pretty watch. I spent too much for it even though I got it for a bargain, on sale. But I got it for a youngster and she either lost it or just decided after a bit that it wasn't for her (maybe the double band was too bothersome. I hope I learned my lesson not to buy something like this for a younger miss!

Leather band produce da chemical burn. Therefore the watch is a waste of money. The burn took 3 months to heal.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!! I love everything about the watch -- the dial, the hands, the leather strap, all of it. It is even prettier than the picture. It also came with a big rectangular box with a soft cloth for keeping the covered and protected. Kudos to Swiss watchmaking!!

I really like the look of this watch. I have a couple of other Stuhrling watches, one that is a wrap style like this one. I was a bit disappointed in this one because the strap is significantly shorter than my other one. With the width of this band and the shorter length it was uncomfortable for me, but made a great gift, so I kept it and the recipient loved it. So my only complaint is the length of the band.

beautiful watch, nice crystal, readable numerals; I am just not skilled enough to wrap the double strap around my wrist and fasten. Had it been a single strap, I'd have kept it. Not sure about this double strap business?
