It's a great product for a loved one but I am going to be indiscriminate about the item. It is a good buy, however the pricing and the wording is quite misleading. It says that it's on sale from $345, but if you go to any other site for this particular watch it is roughly around $70-100 depending on where you go. This is what I believe is a way to get people to buy something that is clearly not on sale by giving a ridiculous regular price when it's real base price is around $100.The glass is made of some poly-mineral scratch resistance, but not sapphire. That alone is something you should consider for the actual price as sapphire glass resistance is a complicated and expensive item to obtain. It's steel that's plated rose gold. Stuhrling watches are a luxurious watch but not so luxurious as you may perceive. It is something you can give or receive that does look amazing, but with many other watches and specs this would be considered an average buy.It is a battery operated (2-3 year) watch with swiss quartz movement. What does that mean to you? It's a regular battery operated watch. Even if you used miyota (japanese) quartz movement, it would be relatively the same as it isn't a mechanical movement watch. There is no date to see what today's date which means this watch only tells the hours.Don't get me wrong, although I do sound negative, this watch is beautiful, elegant and minimalist for those that want the simplistic feel for a watch. The head is small which looks great on women that aren't grabbing their smart phones to check the time. As a fashion statement it makes a woman look more independent. I would recommend this watch to newer watch wearers or those that don't want to get into the complication of watch enthusiasts. It is an everyday watch item that looks good on the go and any given time.
