I'd never heard of Sturling before this but they're winning me over! The watch looks and feels great! I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. The 38mm size is perfect for my wrist and with it's light weight. I jeep forgetting that I've got it on. The original band seems to be made of good leather but I'm a NATO band guy so I switched it out for a NATO band thta's reddish brown in color. The NATO band really makes the watch stand out. Sturling might want to consider selling these with bands that are dyed a little lighter shade of brown. I really like this watch! I intended it to be my weekend watch but I've been wearing it all of the time.

This is a very handsome watch which can be worn for casual or fancy occasions. It is well made, keeps excellent time, & was appreciated as a gift. The packaging is beautifully done, & makes a beautiful presentation to the recipient. I recommend this highly. The craftsmanship is noted & appreciated also. Details on the face of the watch are very handsome. The entire piece is excellent!

This watch is made by a man who was Swiss and moved to America to make watches. The quality is superb! The watch looks very fancy and is paired great with a suit. Easy to set and easy to use. The hands do glow in the dark and the band is of high quality. Even how it is packaged you can tell they take extreme pride in their products. They truly deeply care about their watch quality. For the money it is 100% worth it. Closes thing you can get to a Swiss watch, like a Rolex or a Omega, for this price.My only thing I can say that's negative is the dial nobs feel a little cheap. Other than that this watch is worth the price!

In a world where smartwatches and fitness trackers are everywhere, it's nice to go back to just a simple watch. This watch by Stuhrling is a perfect addition as it has a clean, classic feel to it but is modern enough to not look like I'm wearing my grandfather's watch. The face is easy to read, the band is comfortable, and it's thin enough to slip under my shirt cuffs (something my FitBit can't always do).

when i got the watch it was broken. not the strap not the battery but the watch it's self. the warranty is shady and cost $20 when you read the fine print. i returned it and got a seiko 5. best decision ever i love it way better quality same price.

I wear this watch daily. It has now been about a month and it keeps very accurate time. It is made well and comes with real leather solid band (no stiching). The size of this piece is good for me(38mm) and is a little thicker than I would prefer at 11mm. There are no wearing issues and rides on the wrist well. The date window is small and and the lume is very weak. I have not tested waterproofing yet which is not a priority for me. However, for what I paid for this watch the quality and value is great. I will continue to keep Struhling on my shopping list when in need of a watch at any price point.

I ordered the watch for my best friend as we celebrated out Christmas dinner last night. We went out to dinner and I gifted him the watch, he opened it and feel in love with it, but as soon as he tried it on, the band ripped (SIMPLY RIPPED) and the watch feel on the floor. It claimed to be Genuine Leather and it was NOT. Never have I felt so embarrassed as I felt last night. He tried to make things better by saying it was OK, but I could see his disappointment as well. So not only I payed $55 for the watch, but $35 to have it shipped here to Costa Rica, to have an awful night. Plus when I contacted Amazon about the issue, they said that "since this item was sent to a freight forwarder, we're unable to take any action".UPDATE:I got in touch with Stuhrling Costumer Service and was able to arrange a fix to my problem. They agreed to send me a brand new watch. They were fast and very interested in helping fix the situation. The watch arrived on time, my friend is wearing the watch now and I am happy with how things turned out. I just now hope I can move past on the moment of embarrassment!
