This is my first amazon review, I never do this. But I have to say that I absolutely love this watch. I don’t have to ever take it off bc it’s waterproof To 200 meters!! and fits so well on my wrist. Also it glows in the dark very well which is cool during the night I don’t have to look at my phone. The bezel rotates exactly like a Rolex so you can time stuff. If you are looking for a reliable watch it is this one. Another plus to me is that it looks exactly like a Rolex which I love. This watch is very manly and thick. Can’t explain how much I love it. If you have any questions just reply to this I’ll show you pics/help if I can.Hope this was helpful. I am just so excited about having this watch that I had to come on here and review it.UPDATE: I Have never had to set the time on a watch so many times. I have to set the time every week it’s gotten to the point where I wear it all the time and it’s the most sturdy, manly looking watch I have but man it would be nice if it kept time a little better.

I will start by talking about Customer Service. Customer service was outstanding as at first I received an empty box and they were awesome in getting me a replacement right away to me. As per the watch is a beautiful time piece. I will update in about 30 days about this watch.

This is a manly watch with a stout body and solid band. In just 1 week of receiving it, it is picking up +/ 2 sec's per day. Lumins ok, sweep hand could be brighter. Haven't water tested yet but all in all I'm wearing it and only time will tell as for its reliability. Has a Claro 888 movement for your research which is ledgeable through the peek a boo back.

This watch was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for diving. Bezel is easy to use and I like the one way direction so it cannot be reversed by accident. I love the self winding feature as well. Not haveing to worry about winding or a battery is a huge plus for this watch.

This will be a multi-part review. I like to start with my first impressions, then come back a couple of weeks later with a full write-up. First impression - this is a big watch! This watch was purchased to replace a fifteen year old Croton automatic diver, with which I was extremely pleased. The Croton was a $100.00 watch, but it had all the check-offs: sapphire crystals (front and back), Swiss automatic movement, fair lume, and a large, high-mag calendar date. This Stuhrling is a good bit more massive, and is certainly heavier. The case measures out at just a hair under 43mm wide, and sits a full 15mm high. Like I said before - it's a big watch. It wears heavy on the wrist, and is noticeable that it's there. On first examination, the Stuhrling appears to be well made - with no glaring flaws, misfitting links, or strange noises. The lume is fair, and the second hand sweep is smooth and fluid. I haven't counted the beats, but will work that out later. The biggest disappointment I do have it that it does not have a sapphire crystal, either over the face or on the back. The crystal is proprietarily called Krysterna, and it is apparently exclusive to Stuhrling watches. I figured that with an almost $400.00 price tag, a sapphire crystal would be de rigueur. Because of this, I've only given this watch 4 stars. It's almost concerning enough to send it back, but I'll hold that decision for a day or so, to see how I feel later. So - this is my initial look at this nice watch. It would be a great watch if not for the lack of sapphire. I also have a similar high-end Invicta - one of the early 9938 two tone blue/gold Swiss automatics. The Stuhrling is compatible in terms of quality, but the Invicta, of course, has sapphire. We'll see how this all works out.Mac31 May 2021After over a year with this watch, I thought I would add a couple of comments. This Depthmaster has proven to be a rugged, accurate timepiece. It has held up well against the rigors of daily wear, with only a couple of small scratches to show for the effort. I'm still not happy with the Krysterna crystal, however it appears to have survived well. I have no real experience with the water resistance, but with all the hand washing I've been doing over this last year, it has had no issues. It is still a tough, attractive timepiece that has been comfortable to wear; I'm glad I didn't send it back.Mac
