Only the post and earring backs are stamped, I cannot say these are full sterling silver and it is not in the description. So be wary that the earring CZ basket holder could be another alloy. These are a large stud size for CZ and super sparkly they have a look of blue-grey or denim color. I can sort of see a little bit of purple in there not quite sure what to call this color. Alexandrite comes in different colors so I would not necessarily call this color that but it is quite beautiful and refreshing from most typical gems even CZ you find out there. I find this very elegant and moody for evening wear.Take off before bathing, working out, swimming, and before applying- perfume, body spray, cologne, hair spray, sunblock, lotion, insect repellent, and other similar chemicals to avoid ruining the gems and the questionable basket alloy. These will be safe for most sensitive ears unless you are allergic to sterling silver or the basket's alloy. You could use a clear coat of nail polish on the back of the basket for 1-2 coats and wait for them to dry completely before wearing if you should find any irritation.The earring stud options have lots of colors to pick from and are on a decent price point so pick whatever you love for yourself or let your recipient pick their favorite. These are not true birthstone colors but they are pretty. Some people may be disappointed if it's not their color match. A great option is the April clear diamond CZ- a universal color for anyone to wear. I would stick to giving these to teens and adults, they will be quite large for children.

I ordered these with the 'ruby' stone, which is as pictured. in the description it mentions a heart shape, which I don't see, and didn't get, which is fine; I didn't want heart earrings.These are lovely, a nice sized stone, a richer color than pictured. The ruby color is a dark pink, like a fuschia: not a typical "ruby red" that you might expect. I have a ruby ring that is this dark pink color of ruby, which is what I was hoping for, so I'm very happy with these. I know that photos are always subject to variations with the camera, your screen, etc., but this gives you a better idea of the actual color than the picture in the listing of the 'ruby' color (the listing shows it a much lighter pink color).The stones are set solidly, no wiggling around in the setting, and the weld on the post feels solid as well.The silver does appear to be 925 sterling silver, and I'm wearing them now to test them. No irritation so far, and will change my review accordingly if for any reason they start to indicate anything less than sterling silver.This would be a beautiful gift for someone, or for yourself, and a value for sure at the current price of $12.99.

High quality, beautiful earrings. I go these for my daughter, to complement a nice aquamarine ring she got as a gift from Grandma. Although these are cubic zirconia stones (lab created stones) the color and finish is very nice and they pair well with the natural aquamarine (very slight difference in color). The earrings are real 925 sterling silver, so good quality also.

I'm knocking off one star because I got sent the wrong color. I ordered ruby and got garnet. These are a nice size for daily wear but a little too big for sleeping with them in. The posts have 925 stamped on them but the bezel doesn't have a stamp on the back, so I can't confirm that the whole earing is sterling, but it may be.

Right up front - these are not natural stones, and therefore natural variation should not be an issue. ALSO because they're czs and not created alexandrite, they're not going to change color like a lab created or natural/mined alexandrite stone (so the color you see out of the box is the only color you're going to get). Side note if you're not familiar with alexandrite - if you have a decent specimen, it'll be one color in incandescent light and another in sunlight. That's a key defining feature of the actual stone, but again, cz is cz is cz, and those don't change color.)So I was supposed to get a lovely dolphin bluish situation, and what I'm holding is purple. It came with the June card in the box, but the earrings were separate, so I'm not sure if it's a mistake or not. It's not exactly the color of their faux amethyst, either, so who even knows. (Their amethyst is an almost electrically vivid purple, and I'm fundamentally uninterested in that color as it does not occur in natural stones in my experience.)

These pretty little stud earrings come nicely packaged in a gift box. At $12.99, the price at the time of this review, these are a decent value for sterling silver studs. These are a good size. Not too big, not too small, and I like the sparkly gray stone. It goes with everything. These are basic, but they're nice. Sometimes you need a good simple pair of studs that goes with pretty much everything.

These created alexandrite earrings have a nice color change that is hard to photograph. Under LED light they look purple and in direct sunlight they look teal. In the indirect sun they can look blue gray. They are very pretty in all lights and I consider them to be a great value. The settings are nice and sturdy and the stones are set firmly. Very pleased!
