We watched as the sterling silver gets poured into a casting machine, solidified, then formed into a rod. The size of your pendant thread area is something that you need to measure and see if seller can help you choose right clasp on necklace. At this price, they are amazing for any gifts on your list. They have varying lengths and chart to help you see the length of chain on human drawing, very helpful. It has a small black square that keep it from needing to be dumped in jewelry cleaner. It was packaged well, delivered on time. The yellow gold is over 100% sterling silver. I have not purchased it.
