We watched as the sterling silver gets poured into a casting machine, solidified, then formed into a rod. I bought this necklace to go with a silver and diamond pendant that I got for my birthday from Kay Jeweler. The original chain was super short. I like that this chain is adjustable so you can adjust it to the neckline of what you're wearing. This necklace looks very delicate, so I've been very careful with it. It is actually thinner than it appears in the photos. It's very shiny and looks just like ones that sell for like $80 or more. Fast shipping. Very happy with this purchase.

This measures 1mm not 1.3 mm and absolutely does not have a lobster clasp. If I wanted a super thin necklace with a spring ring, I would've just gone to the quarter machines.

This item arrived quickly and has a very cute velvet storage bag with a drawstring. This is great for traveling. I used it to put my earrings in as well. The adjustable feature is very easy to use and the chain is so light you can't feel the length on your back when you make it a shorter necklace.The only negative I found with this necklace is that it tangles really easily. I had to use my tweezers to take apart the knot in it. You just have to be careful when taking it off and holding the two ends together. The tangle only happened once, so now I'm more mindful.It's a pretty chain, but I wouldn't put fancy pendants on it. This is more for a cute and casual look, which is understandable considering the price.

This chain arrived promptly and as described. One reviewer said it was dull - not shiney and I did not find that to be the case. The adjustment works well and I like the weight of it. I did not want a heavy chain. The lobster claw clasp also makes it easier to use.
