Sterling Silver Women's Tribal Snake Ring is just as beautiful in person as it is in the photo. The etchings are perfectly oxidized to show every detail. From the diamond pattern on the head to the stripes around the eyes, this ring is flawlessly crafted. I was very impressed with the weight/thickness of the sterling silver used. The entire ring is solid- not hollowed out. As far as the design is concerned, this ring is beautiful. I love the visual impact of being wound around one's finger because the intricately-carved chevron pattern extends all the way around the entire shank so it looks like a real snake from every angle. This ring would make a good pointer ring since the side and back of a pointer ring are highly noticeable. The shank of the ring is three millimeters wide in the back and thirty-three millimeters from top of the snake’s head to the bottom of its tail in the front of the ring. The dimensions are too large to be comfortably worn as a pinky ring but great for any other finger. For a high-quality pinky ring, I recommend Oxidized Snake Coil Loop Knot Animal Ring .925 Sterling Silver Band Size 5 . I love both these rings and wear them at the same time on opposite hands.
