I am a guy and I purchased this piece as I wanted a nice looking, yet masculine enough piece to not look like just a ladies pendant. This piece did not disappoint. The style is great and the color of the opal has some beautiful fire. The chain that comes with the pendant is a box chain, but the pendant is big enough to transfer to a larger scale chain (which is what I did). I have received a number of compliments on this piece and how it looks. It definitely looks better than the price I paid for it.
