I can only wear silver jewelry because cheap metals cause my skin/ears to become red, swollen and infected. These silver stud earrings are great! Comfortable to wear and sleep in. I almost never take them out and haven't had an issue with tarnishing. The posts are stamped with 925 which verifies they are real silver. Some people complained about tarnishing so either they bought a fake set or it has something to do with personal body chemistry. Or maybe it's the products they use (lotions, hairspray, conditioner) that are causing them to tarnish. I don't use many hair products and the ones I do use are sulfate and phthalate free with natural ingredients. I also clean my earrings regularly with rubbing alcohol.

UPDATE: Secure the backing, it came off and I lost whole earring somewhere. 4 months wearing no problem. I'd suggest a silicone backing. 2mm is small, your piercing may need to shrink a few days to wear them.These are exactly what I wanted. 2m. Sterling studs. I have 3m. Stainless (in photo on the right, 2mm are the ball) studs I've had in my ears for literally 25 years are great, but I have been looking for simple 2mm ball shaped studs.Perfect. Look great in my 3rd & 4th earring holes. They don't sink into my ear lobe and stay secure.Don't hesitate to purchase these, it was a set of 3 pairs, too!

They are nice earrings and cute, but not very sturdy. I have already lost 3 earrings because the heads popped off. Two popped off after the first use when I took the earrings off at night. The third one was brand new, right out of the bag, and never been used. I think I will start looking for a more sturdy earrings before I lose all of them.
