These sparkly earrings arrive in the box shown in the photos. While the box is cute, you may want to put them in something a little fancier if giving as a gift since the inside of the box is just a foam pad which takes away from the elegance of the earrings.The earrings could probably be considered "huggers" as they sit close to, and somewhat around, the earlobe. Even so, they are quite noticeable as the light reflects and bounces off them. All of the stones are clear and appear to be prong set. The hinged closure feels secure and you can hear them click into place when fastening.I plan to wear these as part of a jewlery ensemble with an equally sparkly red garnet and marcasite necklace to a performance of The Nutcracker this week. I think I'll be quite the site with all my glittery finery!

These earrings are very pretty and sparkly. They are easy to put on and feel secure while wearing them. They are weighted a bit so that they kind of droop a bit, so the design is better seen from a slightly lower angle. I love the cherry blossom design and I find it quite unique and lovely.
