AB-solutely love these! Though they are not "genuine" pearls being made from the interior of an oyster shell, you might think that they would suffer in comparison, but they do not. I have many pearls and these hold up against the most expensive of them. Pearls are my favorite gemstone-have been for many years and I find myself wearing them all the time. These are rather large in comparison to the yellow gold omega back style earring that I have had for over 20 years, but I find them to be just as pretty and serviceable--perhaps a bit more dressy, though. Omega backs are my top fave kind of earrings because you can wear them for days on end without removing at bedtime, the air gets to the holes in your ears and they never get in the way, or itch as posts always do-even w/14K. Thank You Amazon for carrying exactly what I wanted!

I love these earrings. The size and look are great. But after two months one is already broken, although I'm very gentle with my jewelry. The metal post broke off. The metal is not sturdy enough, so it easily looses shape so you have to adjust it so the clasp will close correctly. Subsequently, with time, less than two months in my case, the post will break. Very disappointing, as these are my absolute favorite go to earrings.

It's not always easy to tell in photos, so I will add my comment that these earrings are about the size of marbles to some of the others here. For that reason, they don't quite go with the pearl ring I have, but I will still wear them together.The lustre is beautiful, even, and shiny without looking fake. I'd be shocked if these earrings chip. The leverback is sturdy and works well. The pearls seem securely mounted to the earring back.Despite the unusual size, I actually like these earrings a little more than what I thought I was getting. The bigger size lends kind of a retro sophistication, and I think maybe I'd like a necklace of pearls this same size!Don't buy these if you're looking for a traditional pearl size. However, if you're open to something a little different, I'd imagine you'd be very pleased with these earrings!

broke first time on. looks cheap do not buy. Does not look like a pearl . Fell apart when tried on. Nice box, but pricey for a box.

Purchased for my mom after she lost one of her earrings that is similar to this,, That one was Kate Spade brand and sat on the earlobe a bit nicer, but this will have to do because I cannot find a better version in a store or even online. Great price too, and the fact that it is sterling silver. This is NOT a small earring as some people may expect, they are big faux pearls so if you are looking for realistic pearls these are not for you.

Was wearing these earrings on vacation and kept them on while snorkeling, lost one of them! Really bummed me out. First chance I got I ordered another pair, now I have 3 earrings so I am protected against another loss. These earrings are a muted matte finish metal ball, slightly smaller than a marble, but not to heavy on your ear lobe. Most of my jewelry these days is silver and these match wonderfully. I love them! Subdued glam at night and smart looking during the day.
