I am rather picky, but liked not only the look of these earrings on the webpage, but also the name. They were not what I was expecting when they arrived. They are okay, but not nearly what I thought they would be. They are not very sea opal-ish -- they look too glassy and transparent. The silver is also okay, but could be better. I would not recommend.

I received these earrings as a gift, and I don't know what they are made of, but I get an awful lot of compliments on them. They seem to change color in response to what I am wearing. I would definitely order other Silver Insanity items.

I was worried because I read the other review after the earrings were already purchased for me and on their way, but when I received them, I was very happy. Mine really are glass and not plastic and I think they look exactly like the picture. Every time I have worn them so far I have received a compliment on them. I am glad that I got them.

I have two pairs of earrings from this company and they look amazing. I can't tell if they're plastic or glass but they really do look as beautiful as in the picture, and I always get compliments when I wear them. Sometimes people ask me what stone they are, they can't even tell it's synthetic!! No bubbles or anything like the bad review here says.
