These came quickly and were packaged in a pouch inside a ziploc bag - I think they should be put in boxes, though, so there is less worry of crushing in shipment, although mine are fine. They look great and are exactly what I wanted. NOTE: the 4mm size are SMALL earrings. This is what I wanted, something pretty & genuine to wear for every day, but I specifically wanted something very small, which these are. So take notice that the 4mm size is in fact small, but if that's what you're looking for, they are fine. Very good price, too.

Bought this for my fiance as it's his birthstone and he has two piercings in one ear that are in a unique layout. He only needed one so he is hanging onto the other for an emergency replacement if the one he's wearing gets lost. Which brings me to my one piece of advice on this item, buy some locking earring backs to replace the ones on them as they are somewhat loose and will come off at some point. Luckily he caught it in time and didn't lose the stud. Other than that, the stones are a nice size and look very good. He's very pleased with them.

The earrings came in a small plastic envelope inside a small black velvety pouch which was inside a plastic bag, which surprised me, because I, for some reason, thought it'd come in a box. But the earrings were in perfect condition when I took them out and were very pretty. The part of the earring that attaches to the stem of the earrings (i don't remember what it's called) holds really nicely. I slept in my earrings 2 nights in a row and the earrings remained attached. I tugged at my ear with a glove accidentally, the earrings remained on, not loose at all. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and I will be buying more from this company.

Never really liked garnet. So, I don't own anything with my birthstone. Until I saw these earrings! The color is perfect! Not to dark so they don't look black! Not too small or large for my ears! Very secure backings! Great value too!
