LOOK: This is really really pretty. It has the appearance of good costime jewlery -- which is what it is.MATERIAL: It seems to be non-reactive, however I cannot verify it is nickel free. It hasn't wakened any of my other skin sensitivities with several days of wear.DURABILITY: I've worn it only a week or so, but I am hard on rings. I forget to take them off during tasks or when plunging my hands in hot water. This one hasn't deformed or changed appearance other than needing a bit of a wipe.PRESENTATION: It arrrives in a branded heavyt felt bag, itself in plastic. It is a nice enough gift, depending on how you feel about that branding. It also includes a small lint-free cloth.SIZE: I wear a size 7 ring, and I confirm with a sizer before my reviews to ensure hand swelling, etc hasn't cheated my percetions. This one is absolutely true to size.VALUE: Bubblegum jewelry comes at bubblegum prices, but this is not bubblegum. The price as of this writing seems a touch high to me. On the flip side, I'd have no compunctions wearing it in settings where novelty items would be inappropriate.THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOUR PURCHASE: i have what some people call piano hands. As in "omg do you play piano" length fingers. I do not. That means I also hjjjave the long finger bones to match.And it's a good thing because this ring is large. Truly, measure not just your ring size, but also maybe mock up a piece of cardboard with the approximate length, and ask yourself if you're going to have the joint mobillity you need while you wear it.
